Install the Medicare Bulk Billing Update

Install the Medicare Bulk Billing update for Pracsoft 4.3.

The .exe file must be run on every machine where Pracsoft is installed. Ensure Pracsoft is closed before you run the .exe file.

1. Download the Medicare Bulk Billing update file for Pracsoft 4.3 from https://www.medicaldirector.com/support/product-updates/pracsoft. The file's name is Pracsoft_4.3_Patch.exe.
2. Unzip the file.
3. Save the file to an appropriate location.
4. Ensure Pracsoft is closed.
5. Double-click Pracsoft_4.3_Patch.exe.
6. Follow the prompts to install the update.
7. When the installation is complete, click Close.
8. Repeat steps 4 to 7 on every machine where Pracsoft is installed.

From 1 November 2025, the bulk bill incentives will apply automatically for all Medicare-eligible patients receiving Medicare-eligible items, not just for concession card holders.
