Receipt Site Numbers
Differentiate bank account information for multiple sites.
Most practices have one Pracsoft database and one site. However, multiple sites can share a Pracsoft database. If you have multiple sites, assign a receipt site number to each site to differentiate the account records for each site. Enter the receipt site number in the workstation settings of each workstation at each site.
Receipt site numbers can range from 0 to 99.
If you have:
- One database and one site, the receipt site number 0 can be used for all workstations. 0 is the default.
- One database and multiple sites, choose a receipt site number for each site and enter them into the settings for all workstations at each site. For example, if there are 2 sites, all workstations at the main site could be designated the default receipt site number 0, and workstations at the other site could be designated receipt site number 1.
- A practitioner who sees patients primarily on behalf of the practice and also privately at the same site, for example, as a specialist, and has a separate account for their private patients. Install Pracsoft on two workstations that are linked to the same database. Assign one workstation the same receipt site number as the other workstations at the site. Assign the other workstation a unique receipt site number for that practitioner for their private patients.
