Expired Licences

If your MedicalDirector Pracsoft licence subscription lapses, your Pracsoft database goes into read-only mode.

When your licence expires, you will see messages similar to the following when you open Pracsoft:
Your Licence has expired!
The registration key expired on xx/xx/xxxx
Store Location or Store Password not Known. Please set these details in the Workstation settings
Problems loading Medicare Australia Online Claiming
Tip:
If your licence expires and your site is set up for SMS reminders, inactivate the SMS scheduler on the server or SMSs will still be sent.

In read-only mode, the following features are still available:

  • Open patients files
  • Remove held account via theAccounts Tab > Held Accounts > patient > Print > Print and Save. For more information, see Manually Receipting Bulk Payments
  • Receipt Off Private and Institutional accounts
  • Print Receipts and Accounts
  • Access Referring Practitioner Address book
  • See Institutional Payers
  • Access the Appointment Book
  • All appointment Book Features
  • Access Practitioners Availability
  • All Reports
  • Remove patients from the Wait room

You will not be able to do the following:

  • Move the patient from Pracsoft to MedicalDirector Clinical
  • Anything linked to your Minor ID or Store Location
