Running Pracsoft for the First Time
You must register a Pracsoft account, add bank account details, add a top level user and so on before you can record information in MedicalDirector Pracsoft.

Welcome to Pracsoft, a practice management solution for general practices and allied health providers.
- Pracsoft Licence Details
  Check your MedicalDirector Pracsoft licence details.
- Logging In and Out
  Log in to Pracsoft.
- Running Pracsoft for the First Time
  You must register a Pracsoft account, add bank account details, add a top level user and so on before you can record information in MedicalDirector Pracsoft.
  - Registering Pracsoft
    Before you can use Pracsoft, you must register your Pracsoft instance.
  - Add Bank Account Details
    When you access Pracsoft for the first time, add your practice's bank account details.
  - Create a Letterhead
    When you open Pracsoft for the first time you will be prompted to create a new letterhead.
  - Add a Top-Level User
    When you open Pracsoft for the first time Pracsoft will detect that you have no users in your databases, and prompt you to add one.

Logging On During Set Up

When all applicable information is entered click Save You will be returned to the Logon Details screen, where the list of users you have created appears.
Select MedicalDirector Live Data.
Select the Level-9 user you created earlier from the User list.
Enter your password and click OK.
You will be prompted to set up SMS Reminder functionality. Whilst a valuable tool, it is not a requirement for running Pracsoft for the first time. Cancel the SMS Reminder setup wizard.

You may set up SMS Reminders later via SMS > Setup SMS Reminders.
