Search for recorded appointments.
Procedure
To search appointments:

Open the Appointment module. Either:
- Click
Appointment
Book.
- Select .

If your practice uses multiple
Appointment Books, select the Appointment Book you want to search. (Later,
you can select an option to search all Appointment Books if you want to.)

(Optional) Click an existing appointment. This automatically copies the appointment
details into the Find Appointment window.

Either select , or press F2.

In the Find Appointment window, enter the details for the
search.
- Date range
- The dates within which you want to search for an appointment.
- Search For
- The patient's name, or part of their name, or other text you want to search
for.
Tip: If the patient is present and
you have their Medicare card, you can swipe it now so you don't have to
type their name manually.
- Appointment Type
- The type of appointment, for example, Vaccination.
- Linked patient appointment
- Search for an appointment linked to this patient.
- All appointment books
- Search in all your practice's Appointment Books (if you use multiple
Appointment Books). Searching all Appointment Books can take a few
minutes.
- Appointment text
- Search for keywords in the appointment text.
- Delete reason
- If you want to search for deleted
appointments, enter some text to search for.

Click Search.
- If there is more than one matching patient, select the patient from the list
in the Select Patient window.
- If this is a new patient, in the Select Patient window,
click New to create a new patient record.
Results
The Search Results section displays any matching appointments.
What to do next
To jump to an appointment in the Appointment Book,
right-click it and select Go To Appointment.
