Searching for Patients
Search for patients using a standard or advanced search, by swiping a patient's Medicare card or by name in the Patient Details window.

Swipe a patient's Medicare card to display all patient's listed on that card.

    If you do not have enough specific information to select a patient, you can conduct an advanced search of the patient database.

Patient Search - Medicare Card

Swipe a patient's Medicare card to display all patient's listed on that card.

Before you begin

Procedure

From within the Waiting Room, either:
- Click Search Patient
- Select Patient > Search Patient
- Press F2
The Search Patient window appears.
Swipe the patient's Medicare card.

Results

The Select Patient window should become populated with one or more patients registered to that card, as indicated above.
