Search for patients using a standard or advanced search, by swiping a patient's Medicare card or by name in the Patient Details window.

  Search for patients using a standard or advanced search, by swiping a patient's Medicare card or by name in the Patient Details window.

    If you do not have enough specific information to select a patient, you can conduct an advanced search of the patient database.
  - Patient Search - Medicare Card
    Swipe a patient's Medicare card to display all patient's listed on that card.
  - Search by Patient Name
    Search for a patient using their name.

Patient Search - Standard

Before you begin

Procedure

From within the Waiting Room, either:
- Click Search Patient
- Select Patient > Search Patient
- Press F2
In the Search Patient window, select the patient you are looking for from the database.

Results

The patient's record is displayed.
