Step 5 - Requesting Medicare Australia Online Reports

Request reports about processing and payments from Medicare.

About this task

You can send a request to Medicare to return processing and payment reports. These reports can be used to resolve exceptions and to compare with your accounts.
  • Claims with exceptions will have reports and must be resolved before the claims can be receipted.
  • Payment reports are printed for the relevant claims.
  • Claims that were paid by Medicare Australia Online Claiming are automatically receipted in your Pracsoft accounts.
  • Report output can also be found in View > Payment/Processing.
  • Payment reports will not be requested at this stage for claims with unresolved exceptions.
