Request reports about processing and payments from Medicare.
About this task
You can send a request to Medicare to return processing and payment reports. These
reports can be used to resolve
exceptions and to compare with your accounts.
- Claims with exceptions will have reports and must be resolved before the claims can be
receipted.
- Payment reports are printed for the relevant claims.
- Claims that were paid by Medicare Australia Online Claiming are automatically
receipted in your Pracsoft accounts.
- Report output can also be found in .
- Payment reports will not be requested at this stage for claims with unresolved
exceptions.
