Appointment Management
After you have set up your appointment book, schedule appointments and send reminders.
- Searching Appointments
  Search for recorded appointments.
- Scheduling Appointments
  Use Pracsoft to book future appointments and record services provided without an appointment, for example, fit-in appointments for walk-in patients.

Days Absent

Before you begin

Waiting Room > Appointment Book

In the Appointment Book, you can indicate the days on which a specific practitioner will be absent. Absent days are considered a type of Appointment Session.

Procedure

Open the Appointment module by either:
- Clicking
- Selecting Waiting Room > Appointment Book
If you have multiple Appointment Books in use, select the Appointment Book you want to use via the associated drop-down list.
Select Setup > Availability > Days Absent. The Scheduling Days Absent window appears.
From the Practitioner drop-down list select the practitioner you want to create an absent session for.
Select a date range for the session.
When you have completed your session times, click Save to confirm your settings.
Click

to close the Scheduling Days Absent window.
