Patient Demographics by Sex at Birth and Age Report

This report provides a demographic breakdown of the number of patients in the database of each sex at birth and for a number of given age ranges (for example: 0-9; 10-19; 20-29).

Before you begin

It should be noted that patients who are not flagged as either male or female, or whose birthdate is not defined, are not counted in this report. There are a number of additional options available with this report (click the 'Additional' tab below). You may specify: an age range; a postcode range; Sex at Birth; Active/Inactive/Deceased/Visiting Status; Concession type; any combination of these attributes; or none of these attributes.

To Generate a Patient Demographics by Sex at Birth and Age Report:

Procedure

Select Reports > All Reports. The Pracsoft Reports window appears.
Within the Report Type section, select Demographics.
Within the Report Name section, select Patient Demographics by Sex at Birth and Age.
Select the Common tab:
- Enter a Date Range for the report.
Select the Additional tab.
If desired, using the fields provided, enter criteria to filter the report on the following:
- Age Range
- Post Code Range
- Sex at Birth
- Status
- Concession
Click Print when you are ready to proceed.
