    Schedule an appointment for a new or existing patient.

    Add fit-in appointments for patients without an appointment who are seeking medical attention.

    Schedule recurring appointments for a patient.

    Set up a Telehealth appointment for a patient.

    Add non-patient appointments to the Appointment Book.

    A reserved appointment is a time slot that is kept unbooked for any reason.

Patient Alerts

Alerts display important information about a patient.

About this task

Alerts for a patient are displayed when you:

Add the patient to the Appointment Book.
Add the patient to the Waiting Room.
View the patient record.

Tip:

The alert information is recorded in the patient's records, not in the Appointment Book.

Procedure

Open the patient's record.
Select the Notes tab.
In the Patient Alerts field, and enter the text you want to display.

Results

The alert is displayed when you:

Add the patient to the Appointment Book.
Add the patient to the Waiting Room.
View the patient record.
